1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Leaf (“Leaf”, “the service”), operated by Tealdroid LLP (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Leaf, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Leaf does

Leaf is a customer-support tool for online merchants. It connects to a merchant's messaging channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger) and their online store, and uses automated assistance to help answer their customers' questions.

3. Eligibility and accounts

Leaf is intended for businesses. You must have the authority to connect the store and messaging accounts you link, and you are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that occurs under it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Leaf to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited marketing, or messages that violate the policies of WhatsApp, Instagram, Meta, or Shopify.
  • Break any applicable law, or infringe the rights of others.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Process data you are not authorized to process.

Your use of connected platforms remains subject to those platforms' own terms and policies.

5. Your data and your customers' data

Your use of Leaf is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having any notices or consents required to let Leaf process your customers' messages and order information on your behalf.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features of Leaf. We aim to keep the service running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update these terms; material changes are reflected by the date above.

7. Disclaimers

Leaf is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Automated responses may be imperfect, and you are responsible for reviewing how Leaf represents your business to your customers. We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of third-party platforms (Meta, Shopify, and others).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tealdroid LLP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using Leaf at any time by disconnecting your channels and uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.
